Chris got a job, two actually. He got the opportunity to choose. Which is awesome. And he’s really excited about his new people. Chris will be teaching 7th grade Life Science (Living Organisms and Systems), with the opportunity to teach a gifted 8th grade Earth Science class at Kempsville Middle School in Virginia Beach.
I’ve been connecting with people, applying for jobs, working on some awesome freelance. I’m up for more if anyone needs my services, just call or shoot me an email. 864.419.1701 / firstname.lastname@example.org
We’ve had dinners and drinks with family and friends, and we’ve had lots and lots of pool time. Addie learned to swim and has her 1st loose tooth. Both are taking their time, and I’m fine with that. Life goes by way too fast. Some of my favorite people and life mentors have told me that along the way, so I had fair warning. But still, it goes by so fast.
Jackson is walking more, talking more and eating a lot. And he’s a stinker. He knows how to play us to get what he wants. But he makes up for it with his genuine sweetness and sense of humor. He also knows more than he lets on and he’s mastered telling us what he does and does not want, for better and for worse.
After car inspections last week, installing new brakes and re-inspections, we finally had all of our documents to head to the DMV today to switch over our titles, tags and get VA state licenses.
We’ve got a few things scheduled for the rest of this week, but pending any interviews, we’ll be hitting the road for our next adventure later this week. Stay tuned for our next destination(s)…
For Owen, and everyone else thinking the same thing:
